Chapter 2635: Four Demonic Generals Izanagi III

As the chain around Izanagi’s spear called Morning Sun slowly dissipated, the energy that is coming from him started to grow stronger as well. It was like something was being unlocked from within him is now slowly being unraveled. The clothes that Izanagi wore suddenly started to have a golden luster on it as if the sun rays blessed it. Ark instantly knew what kind of energy Izanagi was drawing out of him and it is an energy familiar to him because he senses it every time he is at Avalon.

“He was a God of Life.” Ark thought as it is now becoming tricky when he is now going head-to-head with a God of Life.

The guild leader always told him that gods are not powerful when they descend as some need to leave their essence in their divine realm. They need to leave their divine essence there in order to revive just in case they are killed in the mortal realm if they descend. The guild leader also classified the gods on how difficult it is to fight against them.

The top three gods that are difficult to fight against are the Gods of War, the Gods of Life, and the Gods of Death. The gods of war are difficult to fight against because they are literally made for war and is an expert when it comes to fighting. Other gods have restrictions when it comes to fighting but gods of war are not part of that restriction.

The next type of god that you do not want to fight against are the Gods of Life. One would think that the Gods of Life are peace loving and very calm gods that would not hurt a fly, but their guild leader shattered that stereotype. Amongst all of the gods in Pandemonium, the Gods of Life and Death are feared the most because they can affect causality if they wish to do so.

If gods are already beings that are out of the norm, then the Gods of Life and Death are even far from it. If they did not adhere to the laws of the universe that they cannot take any life unless it has entered its natural course, then they would have twisted the world to their desires. Ark also remembered that the Gods of Life are difficult to kill while the Gods of Death are difficult to survive against.

Ark wanted to move and try to kill Izanagi before him, but his body could not move from the pressure. As soon as the chains around the spear was destroyed, a heavy pressure suddenly brought everything down with it. The pressure exerted by Izanagi did not just double but increased by at least five times. This is incredibly scary to Ark because he is currently one with the darkness and even the darkness was restrained.

Izanagi’s armor shined in golden light while everything in it is represented with the core aspects of the eastern continent. Izanagi held his hair in a bun that resembled the red sun that is encapsulated in a golden hairpin. His facial helmet has bamboo motifs on it that released a refreshing scent of foliage that reminds one of spring.

His shoulder blades are adorned with gold and lotus engravings that give off a regal aura. His inner robe armor is pure white to represent the purity of energy in the eastern continent. The outer lower armor that is meant to guard the lower area has a motif of the river, mountains, and forest to represent the unity of the three things in the continent. Adorning all of it completely are golden linings that end with a silver magatama.

Ark could now believe that the being that he is fighting against right now is a god. If the Izanagi earlier looked like a normal army general in his casual attire, the one he sees right now is giving off full godlike aura. When Izanagi gripped his spear called Morning Sun, a mandala behind him made of intricate patterns and magatama appeared.

Izanagi no longer spoke as he gathered his divine energy into his spear. Unlike before when he just shot it out, the God Izanagi condensed it and intensified the energy to such a high degree. Ark suddenly remembered one thing that his guild leader told him about the Gods of Life.

“All gods of life are incredible in bending energy to their will. They are the masters of control, and no one can beat them to it.”

The words of his guild leader echoed in his mind, and he immediately used the only skill he can use in his domain. Ark suddenly manifested his Devil Form and started to gather the darkness that he has created. Ark’s Devil Form is quite a cool design as well because he is blindfolded in shadows which explains how Izanagi became blinded by darkness earlier.

His skin that had a radiant glow in his Nephilim form is gone as it is now ash gray. His wings are fully that of a devil as it is two sets of bat wings that can cover his large body. His armor is also now in a red, black, and gold color scheme that made him look regal even if he is a devil in this form. He also releases an aura made of darkness that even eats away at the light.

“So, this is what you look like in your domain. You are now fully Infernal but still have the energy of a Celestial. Such an interesting being, yet such a stupid one as well. This is your punishment for not heeding my advice in joining me.” The God Izanagi stated as he made the energy he collected in his spear explode in an instant.

“Darkness Fall!” Ark stated as all of the darkness around him has been collected in his palm, and he shattered it in a powerful explosion as well.

The energy of life and the energy of darkness exploded simultaneously to create a powerful explosion that created a shockwave that shattered the sound barrier. It was so powerful that even Musika’s barrier got destroyed in the process. In the explosion, both the God Izanagi and Ark were swallowed as they did not even attempt to escape.

“Are you okay?” Pana asked Musika as he helped her up.

“I am fine but what happened to Ark? I thought he was fine as long as he is inside his domain. His character icon on our party is greyed out. Did he die?” Musika stated as she saw that Ark’s character icon cannot be interacted with.

“If he died inside his domain then the enemy he faced is at a level that only the guild master can defeat.” Pana stated as he knew that beings like those are already out of Ark’s league if he is by himself.

“I can try the Hymn of Revival, but I need I cannot select Ark’s icon.” Musika stated which made Pana realize something.

“Against an opponent that Ark cannot solo, how long do you think we can hold off against that?” Pana asked.

“If we worked together then I believe at least half an hour. Given that we are careful not to get hit by him.” Musika stated as she is confident in her abilities.

“That is all we need. Let Basil handle the other enemies because we will face that guy instead.” Pana stated as the darkness cleared up to reveal the God Izanagi safe behind his magatama shaped barrier.

“Such a shame. He was so talented that he even cracked my barrier even as his last struggle.” The God Izanagi stated as his eyes landed on the dark elf and the Muse.

“You, Muse! I shall spare your two comrades if you are to join me willingly.” The God Izanagi stated as he stared at Musika but the dark elf beside her suddenly vanished.

The God Izanagi only blinked by the dark elf has already vanished from his sight which is quite a feat given that he is fully exerting his power and is at the level of a lesser god. All of a sudden, arrows made of strange energy got shot towards the God Izanagi that even he did not know where it originated from. The God Izanagi did not even bother to deflect the arrows because his barrier should be able to handle them.

“Hymn of Empowerment!” Musika stated as she strung her strings, and a powerful tune enveloped the area that also increased the power of all her allies’ attacks.

The arrows that the God Izanagi ignored suddenly doubled in power and the hidden energy inside of them blossomed. The arrows were coated with death energy, and it was intensified by Musika even more as she performed another song that is a eulogy.
