Omega Summoner -
Chapter 2524: Helsing III
Kov thought that he could use the Young Prince Alucred as a bargaining tool or hostage to escape. Kov knew that the situation suddenly shifted as soon as the werewolf was sent to who knows where. The shift in the atmosphere was related to the demon as he suddenly became serious. The eyes of the demon were something that Kov knew really well.
“His eyes looked like that of a trained master when he knows that playtime is over. He barely moved earlier because everything was under control, but something must have happened that triggered him. I could care less for that now! My only way out of this is that boy. If I catch him then I could bargain my freedom and report it to the queen.” Kov thought as he turned around to see that the Young Prince Alucred was not guarded.
Kov thought that the demon was too full of himself to even guard the child or maybe overconfident in his abilities. With his full burst of speed, Kov flew towards the Young Prince Alucred with the face of a madman or rather a desperate madman. The feeling of death that he felt earlier was not an illusion but a reality that will happen if he does not do something.
Kov’s hand reached out to the Young Prince Alucred that was left without a guard. Kov thought that he would now be safe as he could not detect the presence of the demon. The Young Prince Alucred held up his ceremonial short sword as he wanted to protect himself.
“Too late, kid! Blame that protector of yours in his overconfidence.” Kov shouted as he was a few feet away from the Young Prince Alucred when he heard the sound of chains.
Kov, who was confident that he was about to get his ticket out, suddenly found himself frozen in mid-air. He was not frozen in time as he could still somewhat move but there were invisible things that held him in place. Kov tried to struggle but the bind on him only became tighter.
“Who was overconfident?” Adrian suddenly stated as he appeared beside the chained up Kov.
Adrian’s use of chains is different from Charon as he can summon them in any place he wants using the portals. He could even bind space and time using Charon’s chains if he wants to and this is what he is using to hold Kov. It takes a lot of mana, but the effects are very concise since this was a tight space.
“My soulbounds might not be used to tight spaces but that does not mean I cannot fight in tight spaces.” Adrian stated as immediately looked at Kov’s body and all of the weak points were laid out.
“Wait! Please let me live! I can tell you anything you want.” Kov stated as his mouth could still move even though dozens of chains bound his body in mid-air.
“I do not deal with beings that endanger children.” Adrian replied with a cold tone as he struck all the weak points without any hesitation.
Kov, who believed his body is the toughest thing in the world, suddenly went limp as the life drained out of his body. The one that believed that his body could withstand attacks from gods felt his life slipping away with each pierce of the demon’s dagger. Adrian plunged both his daggers at Kov’s chest and the light in his eyes vanished completely.
[You have killed the Vampire Viscount Kov.]
[You have gained good karma as you have killed a being that has negative karma.]
“I really thought that I would get killed.” The Young Prince Alucred stated but Adrian smiled.
“I did not leave you alone though. I had Sirius hide inside your shadow.” Adrian stated as Sirius slowly emerged from the Young Prince Alucred’s shadow to his shock. He believed that Adrian really did leave him to fend for himself, but it was just a front to trick Kov. If Kov really did reach the Young Prince Alucred then he would have his entire head bitten off by Sirius.
“You should focus on your teacher’s fight as that is how you will need to fight in the future.” Adrian stated as he looked at the fight between Abram Von Helsing and Tryapka.
==
“It seems that demon is better than me, but this vampire is pitiful.” Abram Von Helsing stated as he can clearly see that the vampire woman before him did not want to fight.
Abram Von Helsing was born with a special ability to distinguish vampires that had done bad things without remorse. You could say that it is like Adrian’s ability to see the pureness of the soul of beings but his is an intuition that is limited to vampires. Nevertheless, he used this wisely and even befriended some powerful vampires in the past.
The vampire woman before him is a bit tainted with evil but the remorse was there. Abram Von Helsing is correct in his assumption as all the bad things that Tryapka has done is due to the commands of the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory. She was forced to do horrendous things like kidnapping maidens and sending beautiful women to the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory to become her toys.
Each time she does evil things that she cannot endure, she would find a corner and puke. She knew that her humanity was slipping away with each bad thing she did. She was even used to the fact that one or two parts of her body would be sliced off if she offended the queen. She did not care if she was the one hurt as long as she was not the one doing the horrendous things, but she was still an accomplice at the end.
“Kill me! Please!” The pained voice of Tryapka stated as she managed to regain what little sanity she had left.
“As the lady wishes. I shall grant you eternal peace.” Abram Von Helsing stated as he looked at Tryapka with clear eyes.
