Extending out one of his hands once more, Xervei allowed the nebulous energy surrounding his hand to gather one more time as he gave Valyr a calm look.
“For your next reward, I plan on upgrading some of the titles you have obtained from the Shadow Plane thanks to your contributions in the past.”
Willing the nebulous energy around his hand to condense, the man glanced at the orb that formed for a bit before continuing, “On top of that, I plan on giving you a new title.”
“However, unlike the other titles you will obtain, this one will allow you to truly understand how valuable a Tier 3 set really is.”

Just as he had finished saying those words, Xervei went ahead and threw the orb of nebulous energy at Valyr, allowing it to zoom through the air as it soon made contact with the latter’s forehead.
At the moment it made contact, the orb immediately dispersed into wisps of black and white energy, all of which made their way into the young man’s mind as the wisps then began to circulate throughout his entire body.

Feeling as if some parts of his body and mind were being modified and optimized to become better, that feeling eventually came to a grinding halt the moment a series of notification sounds went off in Valyr’s head.
Understanding that those notifications contained none other than the titles Xervei promised, the young man went ahead and brought up a screen in order to see what kind of titles he had received.

Though the notifications that came before the actual title briefly caught the young man off guard, it allowed him to gain a rough idea of what kind of changes Xervei had made to the title after upgrading it.
‘From what I remember, [Native of the Shadow Plane] allowed me to roam the Shadow Plane unhindered while also boosting my stats by a fair bit,’ muttered Valyr to himself, only to then ask the system to bring up the title’s description not long after.
‘I wonder how much the title’s improved after the upgrade?’

By the time Valyr was done going through its description, the young man could not help but briefly look at Xervei with his mouth agape as he did not expect the title to contain new effects.
In his mind, the farthest the man would go in upgrading the title would be extending the immunity effect while staying in the Shadow Plane to also affect the Void World, as well as boosting the stat boost of the title by a fair bit.
However, not only did Xervei do just that to his title, but he had even added an effect that worked similarly to some of the other titles he had, which boosted his stats whenever he was in a certain place.
‘As for the comprehension rate, though it may not seem like much right now, it would definitely help me out later on once I decide on tackling the next tier of energy above Void Energy,’ thought Valyr as he faintly nodded in satisfaction.
Returning his attention back to the notification screen, the young man continued reading where he left off in order to find out the next title Xervei had upgraded as a reward.
Though, once he found out what he was, he could not help but look at the Overseer of the Shadow Plane in shock once more.
[‘Out of all the contributions that you’ve made to the Shadow Plane thus far, the greatest one is undoubtedly your creation of Prime Azure Energy,’ says the Overseer.]
[‘Although Prime Azure Energy could be considered as an extension of Azure Energy, which was made by another member of the Shadow Plane, the changes you’ve applied to it have allowed it to stand on its own.’]
[‘Then again, I still wonder how this energy had allowed the plane’s connection with the universe to improve,’ the Overseer continues. ‘But I digress.’]
[‘With you having applied the concept of both Arcana and Void Energy into this energy you have made, you have brought the might of Prime Azure Energy to a higher level.’]
[‘Since that’s the case, then it only makes sense that the title signifying your creation of Prime Azure Energy should be upgraded accordingly, no?’ The Overseer lets out a chuckle.]
