Taking the Mafia to the Magic World -
Chapter 1136: The Only Fear of the Strongest Devil
A few days later, deep in the ’quietest’ zone in all of Hell today…
There was a gray palace amidst the black mountains of the region, where hot winds raised the surrounding temperature. Meanwhile, a contrasting orange glow was coming from inside the building, attracting attention amidst the darkness of one of the dullest zones in the entire dimension.
Few undead and guardians could be seen around the palace, but the few that were there were as powerful as any Vicente had ever seen on his journey. If he were standing in front of such a palace right now, he would hesitate and rethink several times about going any closer.
He wasn’t there at the moment, but some people inside the palace were talking about him right now.
In what seemed to be the underground area, the orange glow was even more intense there, mixed with a fair amount of steam. Amidst the sound of moving water, feminine laughter was spreading through the area, where only a small group of six beings were there now.
Of these six, none of them had the rocky, dark appearance typical of hellish beings. They had human silhouettes, light skin, with physical characteristics common to humans. Two eyes, mouth, ears, nose, everything about them was ’normal’, except for their auras, which were even stronger than those of the guardians around the palace.
Of the six people in this hot spring, five were beautiful women, each with their own physical qualities that set them apart from the rest, even naked in this isolated area of their family.
The sixth was a silver-haired man, sitting next to his companions, also naked, with water up to the middle of his navel. He had a neutral expression on his face, unaffected by the last good-natured comment from one of his companions.
Then, a beauty with long light green hair, full breasts and emerald eyes, froze her smile and asked, “What do you intend to do with these groups? Qhava is chasing that boy you said would come to us one day. She seems unconcerned about acting in our area of influence.”
The other four women became more serious, leaving the good humor of a few moments ago aside. The strongest among them, with long brown hair, said, “One of them has a familiar aura. Before you decide, we need to see who it is.”
Lothur looked at his women, specifically at Viktoria, who spoke last. Nodding his head, he commented on the person she had already noticed. “I also noticed a familiar aura. It’s not completely identical to any of my acquaintances, but there’s something familiar about it. Perhaps it’s an old acquaintance or someone related to them. We’ll see who it is later.
Regarding Qhava, this woman has become too ambitious since she boosted her powers. Maybe it’s time we put an end to her story.”
Annaliese, Viktoria’s twin sister, shook her head in disagreement. “I don’t know if it’s a good idea. The war brought a lot of changes to Hell, strengthening Qhava a lot. If she dies now, we’ll push the dimension into an even longer period of conflict and uncertainty.”
“And we mustn’t forget the situation with the Upper Realm. In the last 4,000 years, we’ve never been at such a sensitive moment. An all-out war between the dimensions could break out at any moment.” Elke, the only redhead in the group, commented seriously.
Rebecca, the woman with the short, dark green hair, added, “Since Minos Stuart’s disappearance, I’ve seen worrying signs. The realm is growing stronger and the Devils are out of control. We could lose control and enter a negative spiral at any moment.”
Lothur agreed with his wives and even he, a mighty 9-Star Transcendent, considered the strongest in Hell, couldn’t help but worry. Ordinary disputes no longer worried him. He had already defeated every possible enemy. His vitality didn’t worry him. He could live forever. As for his company, he had his women by his side. However, all this depended on the reality of things. And an uncontrolled dispute between absolute dimensions would lead to only one end!
The complete annihilation of all the layers of reality!
That frightened him and his whole family!
As long as reality existed, even if a loved one of theirs on a lower plane died, they could direct their souls and make them reincarnate, grow up and then remember their old lives.
In short, they could do whatever they wanted, as long as the reality of things remained the same.
But the winds currently blowing seemed to want to take them in the opposite direction, trying to push them into unpredictable chaos.
Lothur knew that perhaps their next actions would put them in great danger. “Sigh, I feel we’re approaching a moment of no return. Killing Qhava or not won’t change much. The one who will decide our fate is not her. I can feel it.”
He didn’t know who this was, but he was almost certain that the enemy would come from the Upper Realm—Argardus—and not from Hell.
He looked through his palace, seeing the black sky of this area of Hell. Lothur muttered as if he were the losing side in a great game. “I’ve been fighting for the last 5,000 years. I’ve learned about different planes of existence, become one of the strongest and achieved immortality. But from where I’ve arrived, I can still see a higher peak than the one I’m standing on. Unfortunately, I still can’t control our destinies with 100% efficiency.”
As the five women looked at him in contemplation, seeming to doubt or question whether this was even possible, he took a deep breath and continued.
“Whatever we decide now, I’m afraid it will change little where we end up. But let’s see where this group gets to. There’s an interesting fellow among them.” Lothur shifted his gaze, smiling slightly as he turned his attention to his women.
“This chosen one from Hell?” Natali asked, shaking her light green hair. “I heard several rumors about his appearance a few years ago. But is he everything they say? Feeling his aura now, I don’t feel he’s all that impressive.”
Lothur looked at his younger companion, whom he had known since his youth but had only joined the family a thousand years ago, and answered her. “Don’t underestimate him. He’s weak compared to us, but he has a ridiculous affinity with the dimension. I still don’t know enough about him to understand him, but I saw him once and felt like he was the embodiment of the darkness. I’ve been waiting for him ever since.”
“He could be your challenger.” Viktoria suggested as she contemplated the matter.
“Perhaps…” Lothur laughed. “It’s been a long time since I’ve fought seriously. Perhaps the time has come for me to face someone capable of defeating me.”
As he spoke, two humans, a dragon and a lion, passed through the final border on their way, entering Devil Ritter’s domain. Meanwhile, Qhava was still chasing them, now a mere 10 minutes away from her targets!
