AN: Sorry for chapter delays, been having to read up on old chapter arcs' content for consistency and to avoid plot holes. GW has over 3 million words at this point so it takes a while to read up.

She could tell that daring to ask for clarification would lead to a minefield of drama and headaches, so she wisely saved herself the problem and chuckled weakly.
Seeing that she backed down, Kiran snorted with dissatisfaction, feeling immense disdain in his heart. If it had been his beloved Mary, she would have dove headfirst into these muddy waters in order to bring pain and despair to all those involved!
Then again, Kiran could only sigh to himself. He felt like he was being a bit too hasty expecting a random woman by the roadside to possess even 1% of Mary's greatness, so this reporter woman could be forgiven for her lack of character.
Nadia saw Kiran's look and could tell she was being disparaged mentally by this guy, but she could only pinch her nose and ignore it.
Kiran eventually left with his crew of weirdly subdued Buddhist monks and entered the Summit Center, clearing the field for the next ostentatious group to come over.
And come over they did.
"By the power of Merlin, I declare: Camelot's Return!"
A thunderous voice resounded over the entire area, causing people to cover their ears with expressions of pain and shock. When they looked over, they saw a shocking sight of a huge dustcloud coming from the base of the mountain and rushing upwards towards them.
In a few moments, they even felt the ground begin to rumble like an earthquake was happening, and many had to clutch their vehicles and nearby miniature outposts to secure themselves from falling over.
"Look!"
An aide pointed downward with a wide open mouth, shocked to his core as he saw that the mirage of the dustcloud faded significantly to show that it was a whole army of riders rushing over. It was like a furious calvary charge of old, with heavily armored warriors roaring to the sky as they had their halberds at the ready.
This sight caused panic to spread as many bodyguards raised their weapons, ready to fire and defend themselves and their quarry. Yet even with modern weaponry in hand, which should theoretically raze any cavalry to the ground, none felt safe or secure with endless sweat forming on their foreheads.
Just as it seemed the cavalry where about to clash with the dignitaries, the entire charge halted, coming to a stop in a way that physics never sanctioned as possible. From the group of menacing looking calvary riders, around 20 people came forth, with Misery in the lead.
They dismounted their horses and climbed up the stairs, not even giving a look to the dignitaries who had been terrified and humiliated by this entrance.
Misery turned around and waved a hand, the purple tome in his left arm rapidly spinning its pages.
"Disperse!"
The calvary warriors roared one more time and raised their weapons to the sky as they slowly began to fade away into the either, revealing to everyone watching that they were actually phantoms!
Misery nodded to himself, walking up to Nadia with a nod. "Yes, I remember you. Boss Draco said to answer your questions, so please ask what you want to know." FindthesourceofthischapteratM|V|L-EMPYR.
Nadia gathered herself and glanced at Misery's entourage. "I take it you all are form the esteemed Lineage of Merlin. Can you introduce yourself and those behind you to us?"
Misery scratched his beard, which had been forcefully trimmed by his niece Mary, complaining that he looked too scruffy. Misery had only caved in when Mary threw a tantrum, giving him a headache as he found it difficult to say no to this beloved niece who was named after his lost daughter.
"My name is Nicholas Spencley, ex-serviceman and special forces. I got by the name Misery in Boundless and mostly in real life. Don't ask why." Misery said casually, then turned behind him.
He placed his large hand on Mary's small head, ruffling her nice done up hair. "This milkmaid dwarf is my darling niece, Mary Spencley. She is well know as the administrator of Umbra, Sublime Notion, in Boundless. She is a kind soul who cannot even hurt a fly."
Nadia glanced at Mary, who was unhappy that her uncle messed up her hair. But since she couldn't take it out on him, she rather displayed a malicious and evil expression to the camera that made the hearts of everyone watching feel a chill.
You call that a kind soul? Even Satan doesn't dare frown in her presence, most likely!
Misery slapped a heavily bearded man on the shoulder with an appreciative smile. "This is my brother from another mother, Hector, a descendant of Blackbeard."
Hector grinned and flexed his massive biceps, while Misery patted the back of a handsome and laidback fellow. "This is Edward, my other brother and the descendant of Robin Hood."
Edward lazily made a peace sign with a smile, intriguing the crowd as they liked his demeanor. Misery then patted a tall and extremely handsome golden haired man who stood beside Mary and held her hand in his.
"And this is Walter, my third brother and the father of Mary. He is the descendant of Cu Chulainn."
Walter nodded gently to the camera, bringing Genevieve into view, who was spoiled beautifully on his other arm, dressed regally.
"And that is my sister in law Genevieve. She is the mother of Mary and the milkmaid senior. You can see the resemblance." Misery teased with amusement.
Nadia couldn't help but nod emphatically, and those watching in the distance and from home through the camera also found themselves nodding.
The resemblance was uncanny, especially in terms of chest muscles.
Misery then pulled over a young man who had a shy demeanor. "This is my kid brother Adrian. He is shy, so no one should disturb him too much or I'll beat you to death."
Misery nodded to the camera. "The rest are councilors of the Lineage, and their are as follows…"
He dutifully and properly introduced everyone and their origins one by one before letting them come forward and show their faces to the world.
Nadia made sure to get all of this and smiled when the introductions were done. It was soon Misery turn to ask a question as he glanced around and did not see his nephew in the area, which left him puzzled.
"Where is that brat Kiran? Did he already bring the Bald Donkeys over?" Misery asked with interest.
Nadia nodded. "He went in a few minutes before your entourage came. If you enter, I'm sure you will also meet him within."
Misery glanced at Mary who had a look of interest on her face and chuckled. "Thanks, we'll be going in then. You save the rest of the questions for the post summit interview."
Saying this Misery led the Merlin Lineage into the building, ushering in a period of peace that lasted about half an hour. Rather than go within, the various dignitaries out here were even more numerous as those who had settled within and arranged their seating now came out to witness the arrival of the big three.
It didn't take long for the first to arrive.
A low hum vibrated through the air, barely noticeable at first as the snow atop the surrounding peaks shivered and cascaded downards, not as an avalanche, but as if bowing to a returning sovereign.
From the very sky above, a great beam of emerald light descended in slow and majestic spirals, embedding into the ground with neither sound nor force and forming a glowing jade lotus that bloomed before the summit gates.
The crowd looked on stupidly as the petals of the lotus peeled open to reveal a single woman standing at its center, Jade Empress Ao Shuangtian.
She was clothed in her signature flowing golden robes that shimmered with celestial dragons, her long brown hair tied into a high bun and held by a singular jade hairpin.
Her face was expressionless, her eyes tranquil yet penetrating, commanding the same gravity as a divine empress descending from the heavens.
Behind her, more lotuses bloomed in sequence, each delivering a member of the Immortal Lineage. The nine newly appointed patriarchs followed with solemn expressions, each bearing unique garb symbolizing their distinct bloodline branches; Titan King, Barbarian God, Elemental Golem Lord.
Their combined presence radiated ancient power and fresh dominion, as if a forgotten civilization had returned to reclaim its rightful place in the world.
Gasps and murmurs swept through the crowd as they witnessed the procession and cameras snapped incessantly. The overhead drones quickly shifted to focus on the first of the big three to arrive, and even those who had remained seated inside the summit building began rising to look toward the commotion outside.
Nadia's voice trembled with awe. "T-this… this is the Immortal Lineage… led by the Jade Empress herself, Shuangtian Morningstar."
As she stepped from the lotus onto the polished steps, the ground beneath her glowed with intricate jade runes, responding to her divine presence.
Without a word, without a gesture, the massive doors of the summit center opened wide to receive her, the very architecture acknowledging a queen.
And so, the first member of the Evil Trio entered the summit, not with noise nor banality, but with reverence, silence, and unstoppable grace.
The Jade Empress had landed!
Nadia's face was ruddy with life as she glanced at Shuangtian with respect and awe. Shuangtian was followed loosely by the nine patriarchs of the Immortal Lineage who stood in the third row, then the Pure Blood Bestowals of Franklin (Cold Summer), Uno, Boyd, Sheila (Slim Fatty), Francois (Happy Saint), Johnathan (Noble Soul), Keira, Shani.
Finally, in the first row and right behind Shuangtian were the three Supreme Elders of the serious Armonia, the neutral Ilverios (Tunder) and the laidback Richard who represented the highest power under Shuangtian.
They all walked in within giving an interview, because that was not necessary. The world would find out soon enough who these people were as they were going to become their de-factor rulers.
While everyone was still high strung from the high profile entrance of the Immortal Lineage, the second group struck.
From the edge of the sky, a gentle golden radiance descended like a sunrise upon the snowy Alps, bringing warmth to a world long gripped in the cold hand of sub-human inferiority. It began with a single note that sounded like a harmonious chime that echoed from every direction, resonating deep within the soul.
Then came the light.
Brilliant, prismatic rays of divine illumination poured from above, converging into a radiant halo that crowned a descending figure like the birth of a star.
Wearing a resplendent white gown that shimmered like the surface of the sun on still water, Eva Reiwa - the Supreme Goddess of the Radiant Lineage - arrived.
Her golden eyes gazed over the crowd with infinite calm, a gentle smile playing at her lips. Her short green hair was left natural, with a golden aura floating over every curl and bang like she was about to ascend into a higher state.
Her every step was cushioned by soft light, leaving behind faint lotus-shaped footprints in the air that glowed before fading into motes of blessing.
Where Shuangtian had arrived with silent majesty and divine presence, Eva's entrance was holy, benevolent, and cleansing. The crowd reacted accordingly too, for where they had knelt in deference and obeisance to the Empress, they now wept tears of joy to be beholden to the Goddess.
Floating behind Eva in a divine escort were the leaders of the Radiant Lineage, from her parents Akihiko and Kiyoko walking hand in hand with grace, followed by the twelve branch elders clad in glowing ceremonial robes.
Each of them bore an artifact from one of the lost regalia of Japan, returned and remade under Eva's light.
Behind them came the Pure Blood Bestowals of the Radiant Lineage, Astarte (Cobra), Justin Davis Banks (Deployed Soldier), Jonas (Noble Writer), Lucia, Anne-Marie (Gentle Flower), Sylvester (Happy Scholar) and Hera.
Skipping along happily right behind Eva was her beloved cousin Yui, who was dressed like a shrine maiden and was supposed to perform holy duties but forgot and simply waved to the crowd happily.
As the group reached the steps of the Summit Center, flowers of golden flame bloomed around Eva's path and the sky itself cleared above her in a widening circle, allowing the sun to beam directly upon her figure like a spotlight from the heavens.
Nadia's eyes widened and her voice cracked with emotion. "A-And here comes the Supreme Goddess of the Radiant Lineage, Eva Morningstar… The light of humanity!"
As Eva reached the doors, they parted without force… not by command, but as if grateful for her approach.
The second member of the Evil Trio had arrived.
The Radiant Sun had risen!
