Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy
Chapter 3162: Recovery Complete

The matriarch watched Alex perform the same task again and again, as if he was trying to figure out something important. She let him do what he needed to and did not disturb him in the slightest. It was clear that he knew much more about blood and body than she did, so she allowed him to move to his own tune.

She could sense some interesting Daos being employed by Alex, but she didn’t have the luxury to watch him closely. Not that she

understood these Daos to begin with.

Her focus right now was to deliver blood to the junior before her and let him absorb as much of it as he could.

Nearly 3 hours passed before Xuan Luhei had taken in all the blood. It was time to drain him again, but since Alex was still concentrated on something, having long since moved on from the droplets of blood, she let her junior rest.

Xuan Luhei took the much-needed break to focus on himself and look at the surprising changes he had been through. Had improving bloodline really been as simple as absorbing blood from his senior?

‘No, Alex did something to it,’ he thought, understanding that he could not easily take for granted what had been done to the blood. Without Alex, this would not have worked.

Alex finally moved, looking toward the two. It took him a moment to understand the situation. “Did you stop?”

“We were waiting for you,” the matriarch said. “We thought you were going to want to wait before continuing.”

Alex nodded. “That was good. I did come up with something I’m hoping will work. Let me drain the current blood and I will get right on it.”

As the snake’s blood was drained, Alex focused his senses on his body, determining the changes that had been done over the past few

sessions. What had been a giant chasm between the body and the soul previously was now merely a hop away. If Alex continued as he had been, in 2 more sessions, the snake’s bloodline would reach its natural state.

However, now that Alex had noticed what he had with the elements, he hoped that it would not take 2 sessions. In fact, just half a second would likely be enough.

That was all hopeful thoughts though, so until he put his findings into practice, he could never be certain.

Alex moved to the other side and brought out another vial of blood. The matriarch narrowed her eyes with a confused look, looking down at the vial of blood she had.

She didn’t say anything, simply checking on the vial to see what was so different about it that he had to try out a different one. Was something wrong with the current one?

As her senses reached the snake, her eyes widened slightly, realizing that there was indeed a very strong difference in the blood. The blood itself, its blood aura, its elements-everything was practically the

same.

However, there was something else on top of it all that she could only refer to as… vigorous energy. It was as if the blood had been rejuvenated. As if it was…

“Full of life,” she found herself speaking out loud, her eyes widening slightly. “Did you fill the blood with Life aura?”

Alex looked toward her, eyebrows raised in surprise. “You noticed it?” he asked with a smile. “Yes, I added Life aura to the blood. I noticed earlier that the stronger bloodline elements had a hint of Life aura to them, which made me wonder if that was the reason why they were stronger. Let’s see if I’m correct.”

The matriarch paused for a moment, a surprise running through her. She hadn’t noticed any Life aura at all. How had he noticed something

that she hadn’t? It wasn’t as though she was foreign to Life aura either. She had interacted with phoenixes enough to recognize them. And yet, she had completely missed it when it came to the blood.

Xuan Luhei felt the blood flow into him, warm and vigorous, and pushed it up the bloodstream to where it would meet with his Qi as he began cultivating. His eyes narrowed for a moment and widened slightly.

“Woah!” he couldn’t help but speak. “Even I can sense the difference. It’s as if I’ve just received blood that is dozens of times more concentrated than the one before.”

The matriarch watched with her sense, her eyes slowly widening in shock as well. “So much of it is flaring up and disappearing now. So

few are dying.”

Alex couldn’t help but smile as he heard that. He couldn’t see anything just yet because of the Qi, but if the matriarch said it so, then it had to be true. A minute and a half later, he saw the truth

himself.

The blood that moved away from the bloodstream was now suddenly missing over four-fifths of its original bloodline elements and only a portion of it was blackened out and died.

“It’s as if we’ve made a complete reversal,” Alex said with a bright smile. “Life aura is truly incredible.”

“How…” the matriarch couldn’t understand.

To be fair, Alex didn’t either. What he did understand was that Life aura was important in healing or forming connections. If he had to guess, the Life aura he put into the blood was keeping the elements from running out of energy before they could fully flare up.

He would have to do more experiments. For now, the fact that it worked at all was enough for him.

The session continued, and Alex kept watch on Xuan Luhei’s body just to make sure nothing untoward came to pass. Not that he had to

since everything worked out rather perfectly.

Even before half the session had passed, the snake’s bloodline had

fully recovered.

Alex could have stopped right away and be done with the whole thing, but he needed to see if he could push it further. Would adding

new blood with stronger bloodline do anything?

His objective had now moved from ‘Recovering bloodline to

‘Improving’ it.
